Day 1.- LA PAZ – SORATA
From La Paz we start at 09:00 am we will cross the beautiful landscape of highland, the Cordillera Real, crossing near the Titicaca Lake, and then go by the population of Achacachi, Warisata continue to the pass from ther we see the imposing Ancohuma and Illampu mountains and enjoy the highlands, the beautiful town of Sorata 2.700m, town continue until the town where stay in the Hotel, in the afternoon do a short trek to the Gruta de San Pedro where is a abandoned miner place culture and return to rest in Hotel.
Day 2.- SORATA – LAGUNA CHILATA
After breakfast in the morning we prepare the equipment for the mules, and go to the first camping place Laguna Chilata 4.200m looking the beautiful scenery of the high valleys of Sorata, middle of agricultural places of the quinua, corn and other food and the Andean fauna andina and the lake where we camp Laguna Chilata.
Day .- LAGUNA CHILATA – LAGUNA GLACIAR.
On this day we live early from Laguna Chilata to Laguna Glaciar 5.030m with porters by abandoned mines, spectacular views of the mountains and high valleys of the area and arvive to the Laguna Glaciar in 4 to 5 hours, breathtaking mountain scenery with a huge glacier the mountain, and then return by the same route to the Laguna Glaciar where our campsite is installed.
Day 4.- LAGUNA GLACIAR – HIGH CAMP.
After breakfast we continue to hiking to high camp 5.750m with porters in 4 to 5 hours prepare the campsite on the glacier where we spent the night.
Day 5.- SUMMIT – LAGUNA CHILATA.
Early in the morning preparare the climbing equipment 01:00 am start to Climbing Ancohuma 6.427m in 6 to 7 hours reach the summit enjoy the landscape of the area, the highland, the massif of the mountain of the area near to Illampu mountain and Titicaca Lake, then return to high camp rest an hour then continue returning to Laguna Chilata where we spent the night in camping.
Day 6.- LAGUNA CHILATA – SORATA – LA PAZ.
After breakfast prepare the camping equipment, in the mules then return to Sorata town where the transportation waithing for the group and return to La Paz city in the afternoon around 04:00pm.
