CONDORIRI 10 days

Day 1.- FREE TRANSFER IN TO HOTEL.- Rest and acclimatization day.

Day 2.- CITY TOUR

Pick up at hotel (choice of morning or afternoon) from where we head off in the direction of Valle de la Luna, then return to the city, to climb the lookout at Killi Killi, then walk around the main Plaza Murillo, visiting museums, Calle Jaen, and the Witches market before returning to the hotel.

Day 3.- TIWANAKU

Pick up from hotel at 08:00, and drive across the Altiplano, to the historic capital of the pre-Columbian civilization of Tiwanaku, 72 km from La Paz. At Tiwanaku we visit the Ceramic and Lithic museums, then the Archaeological sites at Kalasasaya, Puerta del Sol, Akapana Pyramid, and the Semi-Underground Temple and ruins, returning to La Paz at around 4:00 p.m.

Day 4.-CHACALTAYA

Pick up from hotel to hrs. 8:00 a.m. and drive to the spectacular viewpoint of Chacaltaya, altitude 5,395m in the Cordillera Real of the Andes, where the highest Sky track in the world is located, to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Altiplano and Lake Titicaca. Afterwards we visit some gorges on foot, and end the tour back in La Paz at around 3:00 pm.

Day 5.- CONDORIRI TREKKING 3 DAYS TO HUAYNA POTOSI.

LA PAZ – TUNI – CONDORIRI

Depart La Paz at 9:00 am, and after two hours drive we reach Tuni, where we leave the car, then after lunching, we load the mules which will carry all the luggage. Then we commence the 3 hour hike to the base camp at Condoriri, altitude 4,700m, where we rest for the first night.

Day 6.- CODORIRI – MARIA LLOCO

At 08:00 am we breakfast and load the camping gear onto the animals, then continue with the walk across two passes, at 5.100m and 4,900m and after 6 hours or so we reach Maria Llocko, altitude 4,700m, where we rest for the second night.

Day 7.- MARIA LLOCO – HUAYNA POTOSI BASE CAMP

After breakfast we set off for the 5,000m Milluni pass, then continue to the Huayna Potosi base camp, altitude 4,700m. This is a 5-hour hike, and we arrive at around 12:30pm. Finally we take the private transport back to La Paz, arriving in the city at around 2:30 pm.

Day 8.- LA CUMBE TO COROICO 1 DAY

Depart La Paz at 8:00 am. We head towards La Cumbre, altitude 4,670 m, where we start the downhill bike-ride, with a lot of adrenaline.

The first part, top of the route, is tarmac for an hour or so, until we reach the dirt road, also called The Death Road.

So we have an impressive landscape of the high valleys, with waterfalls, lush vegetation and a fast descent to Yolosa, altitude 1,300m. At the hotel there we take a break for lunch before returning to La Paz.

Day 9.- Shopping.

Day 10.- Return.
