Day 1.- LA PAZ – SORATA – LACHATHIYA.
At 07:00 am We left La Paz, we passed by the beautiful landscape of the Cordillera Real, passing near Lake Titicaca, and then go through the population Achacachi Warisata where the imposing snowy Ancohuma Illampu and be seen and get the step where the beautiful town of Sorata 2.700m, where we took the mules and started the trek, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Sorata and the imposing snowy Illampu, then reach the first camp is 3.850m Lachathiya currency.
Day 2.- LACHATHIYA – JANQU UMA
We left in the morning continue climbing towards the pass Ancohuma 4,749 m from where the scenery of the high valleys of Sorata, a lot of Andean flora and fauna can be seen to descend to 3,900 m camping.
Day 3.- JANQU UMA – COCOYO
A two-hour walk we come to step Kurahuasi of 4,479 m before descending to the river, after passing through the village of Cocoyo continue to the campsite at 3,850 m in six hours of trekking.
Day 4.- COCOYO – CHAJOLPAYA
With a 2-hour ascent to 4,500 m Sarani step. From where we can see the snowy Warani Wara (Negruni) Chajolpaya the river, where the snowy driveway and variety of forest area and the environment looks animals.
Day 5.- CHAJOLPAYA – LAGUNA CHUJÑA QUTA
After breakfast, we continue the trek 3 hours to the walkway near the glacier 4,900m step Kasiri and Calzada these mountains, and then continue down to the campsite near the lagoon Chujna Quta at 4100m near the mountains.
Day 6.- CHUJÑA QUTA LAGUNA – WARA WARANI
We started the trek to San Francisco beautiful lagoon landscape of the area where we had lunch near the hot springs of the area and then continue to the other site, Wara Warani a walk of 6 hours.
Day 7.- WARA WARANI – MILLIPAYA – LA PAZ
In this last day of trekking prepare all the camping gear and began to descend towards the village of Millipaya through abandoned mines, small mining towns that are dedicated to agriculture and livestock, and so we reached the small village where awaits transport Milliapaya return to La Paz in the afternoon.
